Guatemala – June 1, 2026 Updates

The team recently submitted the Alternative Analysis to EWB-USA for review. From the Alternative Analysis, our team has decided to work on a rainwater harvesting improvement effort with large ferrocement tanks for storage. With this submittal, our team is diving into the Design phase and Pre-Implementation trip planning. We have been continuing to reach out to corporations and rotary clubs for fundraising with some presentations coming up.

The Secoyon, Guatemala project is a potable water storage effort aiming to alleviate seasonal shortages for a rural community. Lacking a reliable spring, rainwater is their primary source of drinking water.
