The Ecuador Team traveled to Ecuador with six team members from May 8th to May 17th, 2026. We worked on the monitoring and closure of the Yugsialo potable water project, the construction of the Anchi potable water project, and the assessment of the Punteo potable water project. We will be working on post-trip reports for the next eight weeks; staying in contact with the community of Anchi regarding their ongoing construction activities; and working on the water system design for Punteo.

The Anchi project is the latest potable water distribution effort in Ecuador. EWB-Denver has been completing projects with various communities in Ecuador since 2006, with the current lead being involved since 2014.
